| [Apr 22] Mudra in Motion |
|
Mudra is a term with many meanings -- a
gesture, a hand position, or a glance of the eye. Mudras allow us
to connect ourselves through gesture to the body-mind and soul.
Join us for an evening of fun pure self-expression through mudra in the
form of Celestial Communication. No experience necessary,
as our teacher will guide you through both the active and meditative
portions of the evening. Celestial Communication is a tool
for mental relaxation. It is a truly unique seated meditation that
combines mantra, music, and movement as a ritual communication with the
Infinite through expressive arm and hand sequences.
Drum-influenced Punjabi folk-dance will refresh your lower limbs between
meditations. Teacher:

| [May 13] Inner Peace Concert with Snatam Kaur, GuruGanesha & Thomas Barquee |
|
A sacred healing concert with a delightful
children's segment and interfaith ceremony.
Many people say, "I don't have a good
voice, I can't sing." What they do not realize is that it is the very
sound of their voice that heals, nourishes, and connects themselves to
their spirit. Naad Yoga and the act of chanting link
primal sound and the basic elements of the physical body to the etheric
elements of the soul. With deeply moving music and Snatam Kaur's guiding
voice dancing over the accompaniment of gentle flute, Indian violin and
subtle keyboards-before long, you too are absorbed in sound. So, whether
you're a warbler or a frog please join us to experience upliftment
through sacred sound. Saturday, May 13 (7:00 pm - 9:30 pm) • Tickets: $20 in Advance • $25 at the door |
