Fall Festival 2008

Frequently asked questions:

What should I wear?

The festival is an outdoor event. Yoga classes are held under a big, beautiful tent. The ground is covered and we have heating units available. However, we do suggest that you dress appropriately for spending a day outdoors.  Wear loose comfortable clothes for yoga. It is often chilly in the morning, quite warm around noon and then as the sun lowers, it can get cool in the afternoon. Dress in layers. This is New England, and as we all know, anything can happen with the weather!

What should I bring?

Bring your yoga mat and/or sheepskin. If you are not comfortable sitting on the ground, bring a meditation cushion, firm pillow or folded blanket to sit on. A cozy blanket will keep you warm during deep relaxation.

Is lunch included?

Lunch in not included in the price of admission. There will be a delicious Indian lunch available for purchase. Also light snacks and beverages are available for purchase as well. Indian food can be spicy, so feel free to pack a picnic lunch. We provide gallons of warm yogi tea!

What happens if it rains?

The festival goes on rain or shine! New England weather is unpredictable. We have had festivals on beautiful, warm sunny days and on days that felt as if we were in monsoon season in the tropics! Once the festival is rolling along, no matter what the weather is like, the climate inside the tent is cozy.
