Mahan Kirn Kaur

Mahan Kirn Kaur Khalsa, NY, is a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, a Sat Nam Rasayan healer and instructor, and a White Tantric Yoga facilitator.  She studied under Yogi Bhajan for over 20 years, and served as his personal assistant and healer.  Author of Bound Lotus Manual, a “how to” book detailing the practice and healing benefits of this classic posture, she will be leading yogic postures and meditations as well as introducing for the first time at the Fall Festival Sat Nam Rasayan, a subtle yogic healing form that relies strongly upon conscious presence.

 

Taran Taran Kaur

 

Tarn Taran Kaur Khalsa, NM, Director of Women’s Studies for 3HO International.

Tarn Taran Kaur has studied directly with Yogi Bhajan since 1972. Yogi Bhajan requested that she and her husband, Tarn Taran Singh, teach in Europe - where they established 3HO Germany Foundation. In addition to serving as the 3HO WOMEN International Director and the Director of the KRI-approved Specialty Training for Conscious Pregnancy, Tarn Taran Kaur is also a KRI Teacher Trainer - Level I and II. She serves on the Boards of 3HO Foundation Int’l and KRI TTEC.

 

Hari Kirn Kaur

 

Hari Kirin Kaur Khalsa / Joan Hanley, NH, is a practicing artist, art therapist and KRI certified yoga teacher who directs the Kundalini Yoga Studio & Art Gallery in Wilton, New Hampshire, a versatile platform where she connects with and presents yogic/life tools to young people as well as adults.  She offers workshops that combine yogic technologies for creativity with her artist’s toolbox for tapping into the creative expressions of her students.  She is currently writing a book on yoga, art, and soul work.

 

Guru Sangat Singh

 

Guru Sangat Singh / Matthew Dorko, MA, and friends will lead us through musical mantra meditations.  Guru Sangat Singh has both performed and recorded/mastered two recent mantra CDs:

The Miracle Mantra “Guru Guru Wahe Guru Guru Ram Das Guru,” and the more recent “Dhartee hai, akash hai, Guru Ram Das hai” mantra, used for the Summer Solstice group meditation each day.  As a singer, guitarist, and composer, Guru Sangat Singh is uniquely sensitive to the subtle graces that can be expressed through music.

 

Guruatma Singh

 

Guruatama Singh Khalsa, MA

Co-director of Franklin Yoga and Wellness, Guruatma Singh debuted his DVD, “Kundalini Yoga for Health and Joy,” at last year’s festival.  In addition to being a yoga teacher for the past 30 years, Guruatma Singh is a Wellness Coach and Psychotherapist who has served as a Stress Management Consultant at Tufts University Graduate School, where he has taught yoga and meditation for the past 15 years.

 

Dharam Singh

Dharam Singh brings a unique and earthy perspective to the Kundalini Yoga community that is inspired by broad exposure to Native American Shamanism, Tibetan Buddhism and Reichian Body-centered Therapy. His passion for the transformative power of sound and music has found a place in the use of the Gong as a tool for deep healing.
